Distributed High Volume Scanning

GoScan's software architecture provides companies with the flexibility to build smart, secure high volume scanning solutions. The software is geared for network, distributed, and remote scanning processes. Organizations need to be able to accommodate projects that require an employee who is either on the local area network, a wide area network, or in a remote office to be able create and send images back to a central location for processing. GoScan's Workgroup configuration helps organizations who have a need for multiple scanning workstations.

The Workgroup License includes 100 GoScan Lite scanning interfaces and one GoScan recognition engine. GoScan Lite is a simple scanning application that generates images, and has no page limits. It can drive most Twain compliant scanners and multi-function units. Once images are created, they are sent to the GoScan recognition engine for barcode and/or OCR processing. GoScan Lite can also be used as a stand alone scanning application.

One major advantage that GoScan has over its competition is that our recognition engine interprets data from an unlimited number of images. As a result, our customers can drive a high volume scanning solution without having to make a significant financial investment in software. Our recognition engine can read both one and two dimensional bar codes and will OCR all characters on the images, making the file fully searchable.
